Invisible white fillings

You can have fillings changed to improve the appearance of your teeth. They can even be made to be invisible.

Today there are alternative materials to the black/grey amalgam and gold fillings, which include a spectrum of various ceramic inlays made at a laboratory or composite (white fillings) placed directly by us for small cavities.

The Cosmetic & Implant Dental Clinic has been practicing dentistry using non-metallic fillings since the mid 1990’s, when these treatments first became available. There are many reasons for choosing these fillings, including concerns with the use of mercury in older style amalgam fillings, and of course the aesthetic result.

Back teeth that need fillings can now be completely rebuilt with the latest modern technology using white composite resin. This new treatment will completely restore teeth to a beautiful condition. At the Cosmetic & Implant Dental Clinic, we utilise perfectly colour matched composite resin, so that your back teeth can be rebuilt to an ideal long term strength, with a much more desirable aesthetic look.

Teeth that are filled with older style amalgam fillings are at a high risk of fracturing, but can now be rebuilt with composite resin, preserving the remaining healthy tooth structure. Smiles can even be widened and brightened using this new technology. After treatment by Harry Shiers, you can be sure that you will be laughing and smiling with renewed confidence.
